Labor Day weekend

I've officially outgrown all of my preemie clothes and now I'm wearing all my "big" boy clothes (relatively speaking). All this growing is hard work and that's why we have labor day. So I decided to relax this labor day weekend and meet my Auntie Alice.



She's pretty nice but she encourages my daddy to tease me.



This is when mommy was changing my diaper, my daddy put 2 of my pee-pee teepees on my head to look like horns.



Here daddy decides to put all my stuffed toys on my back as I'm laying helplessly on my stomach.



Here mommy and Alice put a bow on my head to see if I would make a pretty girl.



And finally here's a picture of me reaching for my mommy to help me but she's busy taking pictures.

1 Month old today

I'm 1 month old today. Only my maternal grandmother bought me a present. It's a cloth book shaped like a puppy.

Busy 1st month. Unpacking, getting to know people, hooking up the cable. But I think I'm finally getting settled in.

In any case, I know some people are just looking for pics but since I've been fussy the past couple of days, and none of the pics are any good, here are some other pics from the past 10 days.

This is how I looked 8 days ago, when I was getting "kicky" and mommy decided to swaddle me.



I look like a burrito. Incidentally, mommy had daddy go drive and find a place for some mexican food.

And here's another one from today just for my daddy who still like to poke me while I'm sleeping. It's a little blurry but my daddy stopped poking me in the butt when I'm sleeping.

Jack versus Jack Daddy

So daddy has been VERY annoying recently. He's been poking me in the cheeks while I sleep, poking me in the butt while I feed, and tickling me whenever I'm awake. It's time to consider taking the old man down.

I just got back from the doctor and I'm now a strapping 19 inches and 5 lbs 11.5 ounces now.

He's got the size, but at least i don't have corns or callouses.

So the odds look stacked against me. But I have a secret weapon. This handsome bloke is my partner and does everything I do in reverse:



The two of us should teach my daddy to stop bothering me while I get my sleep.

Bath time

Well I've had it this time. When mommy wasn't in the room, daddy blasted some gas right at me. He said it was an "accident" but he was guffawing like crazy so I have to assume he did it on purpose. So I decided to pee everywhere while he was changing my diaper. Mommy was not amused and decreed that it was "bath time". The thing is, since I still have my umbilical cord remnants, I can't get it wet, so bath time, is basically me getting a sponge bath.

First they strip me down and sponge me down in my personal bath tub.



Then they have to wash my hair cause somehow, I got pee everywhere.



Then they put me in my duck towel to dry off.



Finally, back into fresh clothes, and then I ruin the whole shower, by slobbering over my fist as soon as the last button is buttoned up.

Packing on the ounces

I went to the pediatrician today and I now weigh 5 lbs 4 ounces. For those interested on how to become such a weight gaining beefcake, follow my regiment.

Eat between 0.5-1.5 ounces of breast milk every 2-3 hours.

Wake up at 2 AM and force my mommy and daddy to play with me in the dead of the night.

What do I do for fun?

So people say I'm cute, but I know that being cute only gets you so far. I need to continually add to my act.

So my first new act was my pee-pee dodge act. Where as you try to change my diaper, I try to squirt on you. I got my mommy several times, but my daddy is too quick.

My mommy also puts a pee-pee teepee on me now so that act should be over. There's a picture of this but mommy doesn't want me to hate them for posting that picture when I'm older.

So now that they've tired of my squirting act, I present to you, my first dance number.

Tiring weekend

So uncle Tony and auntie Hanna came to visit me this weekend, but after all the doctor appointments and lactation nurses, I just needed to relax and rest this weekend.

I finally gave my mommy a decent picture after giving her trouble all day
